Ironically enough, Nistor's A score here was higher than Semenova's. It's the B score that's dragging her down.

actually, ksenia's routine was much better, her execution, her releases etc, but nistor is improving and it would be nice to see her medal at the olympics. i'm still trying to figure out how nistor could get higher A score than Ksenia. Can someone help me?

Whats the different between an arabian double pike and an arabian double tuck dismount?

okey fine, even tho i havent watched those yet but usually for other front piking elements in gymnastics, ppl dont excessively tuck their legs

LOL that you would bring up Li YA. I looked at two videos one from a world cup and one from the world cup final in Brazil, she bends her leg on both and even worse than Semyonovao on the video from world cup final!

I KNOW about the deductions for things like handstands affecting only the execution score, thank you very much!!I was just wondering if she was deducted on them, thats all. What was her execution score, as its not shown here?

1. they did devalue the dismount at this particular meet
2. watch Li Ya who does the same dismount and she can hold the pike very well
3. if the judging in stuttgart was fair, they wud have devalued it then too, cause she tucked it just as much there. she wud have lost 2 tenths and wud have been off the podium : )
