  • Nice job man. I have always toyed with the idea of a kit car,but I am I don't know if I have that kind of time. Not cheap to do right either. Maybe after I sell my giant killer robot. Hope yor still having fun with it.

  • @crrider12564

Thanks. I bought the car back in the late 80's or so when I lived in Calif.. It ran but was a basket case. I put a lot of hours into it. Drove it everyday to work for two years then had to park it because I couldn't get it smogged. Years later I sold it to some guy in Ohio. No idea what ever happened to it after that. It was a fun car, real head turner.

  • what a waste.... it should never got a bug motor!

  • @Darkkheart420

This kit car used an unaltered VW pan as a platform for the body. I couldn't afford a tube framed mid-engined chassis that was available from the mfg. There was a conversion kit to add a V8 engine but again was quite expensive to switch over to.

  • How long have you owned the car?

I knew a buddy of mine that owned one of these, he got into an accident with it, and rebuilt it and that thing was sharp. We where suppose to race but sadly he's no longer doing cars. :(

  • I owned the car 8 or 10 years before I sold it to a guy in Ohio in '95. Had alot of labor tied up in that vehicle, I often wonder what became of it.

  • @wyrazoque sing sing sing

  • I kinda liked the wing.

  • @emmy6423

Yeah the wing was a bit crude, but back then (80's) there weren't really any aftermarket wings available so I had to make do with a homemade one. The area back there was so flat it really needed something to break it up a bit.

  • Great music!

  • It is powered by vw engine? Nice music selection BTW...
