Excellent video
Raises the question, why the suddent increase in unemployment when the GDP is growing??
-
This year the taxes will be 14.4% of GDP
IT HAS NOT BEEN THAT LOW IN OVER 70 YRS
The reason is the low rate now paid by the top 10%
JUST RAISING IT FROM 14.4% BY 1% WOULD DRAMATICALLY BRING IN BILLIONS!

Figures don't lie, but liars figure.
A few pts.:
1. The unemp rate n 1953 was calculated differently than it is today.
2. While the top income tax rate used 2 B a lot higher, the tax code used 2 allow taxpayers a lot more deductions & legal ways to shelter their earnings.
3. The deficit for FY07 was 1.15% of GDP. Since then, the 35% tax rate has remained in place, but gov't spending has shot up.
U purport 2 appreciate facts & figures. Look this up: "5 Left-Wing Myths About the Economy"

@alexjxcx indirectly of course. the companies arent evil, they are just doing what makes sense for them and china, being run by its communist tyrannical government, wants to keep the corporations over there, so they enable what is practically enslavement. if china would have humane working conditions, it would no longer make sense to outsource labor. so your solution is to make the U.S. more competitive by lowering working conditions and beat the chinese by also exploiting poor people.

@schlafanzyk american companies have a say in Chinese policies? wow not even responding anymore, but for one last tidbit "religiously" is a dumb adjective to describe an atheist... just saying
-
@alexjxcx yeah no shit? you just made my point you idiot. the companies are happy to keep those circumstances if the country allows it and you are making an argument for policies that do exactly that. are you that retarded, that you dont see that this is the problem even though you have actually witnessed the effects? all it takes is A TINY LITTLE BIT of reasoning to see that you are blaming the symptom for the cause, which is what needs to be addressed, yet you religiously defend it.
-
@schlafanzyk i love how the base of your argument is insinuations and assumptions of how china is-i have actually been to india so i have seen how life is like in a country in which their currency is INTENTIONALLY LOWERED-so when you actually see what life is like in these countrys, then you may come online and start blasting all these companys for shamefuly payng these people above the average in their companys-BLAME THE FUCKING COUNTRY not a company that is simply providing the best alternativ

@alexjxcx i wish you would have to be in their position and have to work sometimes 36 hours straight for 30cents an hour, you would be among the the ones already commited suicide. i know, its all the evil unions workers fault even though they dont even have a union because they would be thrown in prison for it hence theyre so desperate they can only protest by threatening suicide. africa the only place with forced labor.. good one, you should visit the real world every once in a while

@m015094 not just intelligent but also hard working- yes school is easier for intelligent people but for not as gifted people who bust their ass they deserve an education too so long as they show that they would actually put it to use
