Sure it is, it's just that the magnet spheres don't represent vertices, they represent edges. The hexagons manifest themselves in the connections between spheres.

Hey, looks great. It's not a buckyball though. A buckyball is made of pentagons and hexagons. This is just made a pentagons and is a dodecahedron.
