@SFFL1996 "Record" consist of albums, singles, and videos. In 2009 Def Jam confirmed that Mariah has sold 175 albums - just albums; singles and videos aren't included-. In the U.S. alone Mariah has sold over 20 million singles alongside over 65 million album copies. So 200 plus records sold worldwide makes sense.

@SFFL1996 last figure is 230 million which makes sense seeings music box alone sold over 40 million :)

@MEareCAT No she doesn't....her last #1 hit was "Touch My Body" back in 2008....the highest charted single afterwards has been "Obsessed" which peaked at #7 I do believe.
And she's still somewhere placed in the 170-200 mill mark as far as sales go, not 250 mill.
I dunno about the most successful female artist of alltime, but as far as female vocalists, she's clearly the most successful, and probably the longest reigning. I don't think any diva has lasted at the top so long.
