@SARAHSJURY The repeal of DADT makes him pretty different from GOP candidates.

@FreeBang99k And as the anchor said, women couldn't vote when the Constitution was written.
Also, just because the definition of marriage in a dictionary is between a man and a woman doesn't mean that it is unbiased or equal, nor does it mean the definition can't be changed. The definition of words changes sometimes.

God bless this man and his husband. I HOPE they do see change in their lifetime, as he thinks not. I believe once the SCOTUS gets prop 8, AND DOMA challenges, they will rule in favor of the constitution, and things will drastically change for the better good, and for LGBT couples. I think this will happen SOON! The anti-gay "organizations" have NO defense, accept for the bible, and that don't fly in this country! Thank GOD!

Mitt seems to be all about the hair. So many of those trim Mormon boys are very repressed. Every Mormon boy I've ever met has turned out to be a closeted gay mess.

some people are so insecure about their marriages they don't want other people to marry. What a lame excuse for a nation that is supposed to be the DEFINITION of Freedom.

Gay marriage has been outlawed since the reformed Christian Roman Empire....yet Gay marriage has existed .....so this little shit of "man and a woman" is a clock of neo con shit....thumps up

as you could see the definition itself does not say "man and woman.".... gay marriage will be a reality soon because more and more the masses of our republic open their eyes

Obama is AGAINST same-sex marriage and in the 4 years he has been in office, he hasn't done much at all for the gay community so what makes him any different from the GOP or Mitt???? And Mitt wasn't confrontational. He gave the man the answers he wanted didn't he?! Hmmm.....
Marriage is a religious ceremony. Under the First Ammendment, people have freedom of religion. However, the Federal government doesn't have power to force churches to marry gays.
That being said, it DOES have the power to PROTECT homosexuals from those who seek to stifle their freedom of religion. So, while the government can't force churches to allow same-sex marriage, they can't ban it either.
Two gays getting married should be up to them, the priest who agreed to marry them & their god.
