I have uploaded a map with extra custom made goodies for normal standard BF2142 called Kursk (Made by ImTheHeadHunter) with bots included so it doesn't need any singleplayer mod to be played. Simply download, extract and place the kursk folder under the levels folder where you have BF2142 installed.

The gunship seriously needs another gun. Its too hard to hit infantry without seat switching.

However I think the main reason DICE didn't add a machine gun for the pilot was because the gunship would be too oer powered.
