@socalazn168 chinese have no sense of safety. Koreans and japanese have started out making cheap cars but they've improved. Chinese there is no knowing how the chinese will react once word gets out that their cars are deathtraps. Maybe instead of investing money to improve quality they'll instead to resort to selling them as brands that they copy and sell consumers their crappy copy cars. They are free to engage in consumer deception. They have no conception of consumer protection.

Japanese cars started by copying Americans and Europeans. Korean cars started by copying Japanese. What's the difference? Frankly I rather have China copy German car design than shitty American ones.
