Thanks to Woozer's suggestion of this project and her Final Cut editing skill.
Basically we each picked a part of the harmonies and recorded our individual FC runs and Woozer layered all three tracks with some cut ins and outs during the solo part where we pre-selected the phrases (I think you guys can pretty much figure out who is who since we don't sound anywhere close to each other ^^)
I am very humbled by this experience because of the degree of difficulty of the song, not just the charts, but to the actual singing part of the song period. It is such a timeless hit that I personally almost butchered it.
As for my buddies who were doing the harmonies, kudos to them! It was hard not to sing the solo part or whatever part you think the song should be in your head. I know for sure if I was doing the harmonies this project would NEVER get done because I get pulled easily.
Hopefully more of this type of projects will be coming from us and hopefully you guys will enjoy this. I am the one to blame if anything went wrong ^^ Thank you!
