@mystylady That would scare the shit outta me! My doctor, months prior to my endoscopy, sold me it was the same one MJ died on, but that he abused it to help him sleep, without the aid of a certified anesthesiologist. When I was actually getting it done, I remember feeling its effects and saying "I dont like this at all..." as my head spun into darkness

getting my tonsels out ok Dr: ok count to 10 Me: i bet i can 1..2.. *wakes up in recovery room lol*

just be sure that a nurse (CRNA) doesn;t do your case...demand an anesthesiologist (MD) if you want to avoid the serious side-effects: subtle brain damage, resp problems, death...a nurse would not be able to manage any of these

And yes that syringe he's using is a standard surgical Propofol dosage.

@mystylady LOL can't believe she said that BUT Propofol works well for endoscopies because it doesn't last long.
I recently had an endoscopy done and said to my anesthesiologist that I was scared and she said, I kid you not..
"Do Not Worry! I Give You Same Medicine Michael Jackson Die On! You Feel No Pain"!
