To me this is just companys being greedy as hell if this happeins to new xbox i wont be buying there console games brand new are already over priced plus companys make millions off there products so i dont understand there greed for more money when they clearly make millions already

well a real answer is that the devs should all put passes in their games like Battlefield 3 and Saints Row, so then you can still buy the game from the retailer, but if you want to have full access then you will need to pay the devs to.
