Fire up those quick twitch muscles. High School Football team stretching with Myosource Kinetic Bands in Pre-Game. Our athletes work the "core" muscles during Pre-Game stretch and position drills.
We are a very small team with 18 Varsity players and we work hard on speed, quickness, flexibility and conditioning. We need our athletes to be in great shape and rely on speed and quickness. We work the "Core" quads, hams, glutes, abs and hip flexor during stretch and position drills. Pre-practice and pre-game. We cannot afford injuries, cramps, pulled hamstrings and work very hard on conditioning and safety.

I am the O-Line and D-Line coach, strength and conditioning and Assistant Wrestling.
I am also the Managing Partner of Myosource Kinetic Bands.

  • These kids are too week to use these bands. Their technique is flawed on every drill. They arent yet strong enough to use bands like this. Secondly, watch the sprints at the end... every single kid false steps his first step. First step should always gain ground, not give. Seems silly to me to do this stuff to increase speed when your first step is backwards.

  • @bailey6766 you care coorect but athletes have to start somwehre and they improved over the season. gaining ground is crucial and it took a while to work with these kids. none of them had ever played football before.

  • These bands look more loke they are putting strain on the hip flexors than the leg muscles themselves. Won't this cause damage a bit later on.

  • I have personally used them for 7 years and train my athletes with them every day. The key to any training is not to over train to the point of hurting yourself. Like weight lifting and a lot of other training methods, building strength and stability is very positive for athletes.

  • you can do any of the exercises you see in all of our videos. The bands would enhance your training but the exercises would help you regardless.

  • We use them for only a few minutes to get a good stretch and fire up the quick twitch muscles. We have no fatigue problems and your body goes right back to its normal running position. We also use them in wrestling the same way. training and right before a match. its a great stretch and muslces firing and ready to perform.
