During a gathering of Ringo, Maureen, and Pattie and George Harrison, George announced he was in love with Maureen! It was rumored that Maureen and George had a brief affair.

  • they did have a fling , but George was never IN love w/ Maureen ! was just "free love"

  • @teegaro if you knew the story you'd realize that before george confessed to ringo, maureen, and pattie that he was in love with maureen. (which chris o'dell was there to witness) you'd also know that george confided to chris is private that he was in love with maureen.

  • @CubanCheGuevara And this coming from the guy whose sole purpose in life is to mock and criticize everything George Harrison ever did in his 58 years on the planet, get a life dude.

  • @cherrypop1771 Come on. Back then, everyone was jumping in bed with every1 else's partner. And Patti was caught in bed with Clapton. It was musical beds in those days.

  • @RevSpike he was never married to jane only engaged.

  • @jamespg1993 Linda was his second wife. His first was Jane Asher.

I read some Chris's book. It's pretty good. She does not trash anyone.

  • "Poor George struggled with music"?????? Sir, please stay off the crack. It does terrible things to one's brain. Harrison was a brilliant musician, a tremendous song writer, and a very under-appreciated singer. His song writing was maturing as early as Rubber Soul and only continued to get better until he passed away. Maybe you just made that comment to provoke a heated response. Well then, mission accomplished.

  • @FrlghtWolf The song My Sweet Lord, written by George Harrison, sounded nothing like what it was supposed to be plagerized from whatsoever! He's So Fine...? Coincidental similarity at best...George was in fact kept down! Check some of the Beatles hits he wrote!

  • @2011lamb - I think George was actually quite fortunate.

John, Paul and George Martin kept a lid on George's early

work for good reason. He wasn't ready. When he finally

matured, George was writing some pretty good material.

It's a shame that George felt there was a conspiracy among

his colleagues to keep him down. In fact, they very likely

saved George from himself. When he finally went solo, his

biggest hit turned out to be plagiarized. Poor George struggled

    with music!

  • @CubanCheGuevara GET A LIFE
