In 1985 I went to visit Jims grave and the statue was already painted green/black/etc.etc.  and many people wrote lyrics on it. The plague was not there yet. It was a magical experience back then with a lot of music and peaceful people smoking pot. I loved it. I am going back there in may 2010 and I just can't wait. It will be much different than in 1985, but it's the last restingplace from Jim...that's enough. I love this man.

aww thats sad!...i would love to visit jims grave, but for one, cant afford it lol...and two, its not like it used to be, theres a barrier around it, to stop grafiti, and theres always a sercurity guard watching too! not good. wish my mum had of took me back in the day, as she was a massive doors fan!
