Steve Taylor preaches the Glorious Gospel in a contemporary fashion. Major influence on me.

Remaking this video for today would not be as appealing as the original. Steve wearing that contraption makes me laugh! He did a good job on "The Second Chance" movie though. He also needs to put some meat on those bones! Too skinny for his own good.

Taylor was a conduit of sublime genius. Not one throw-away line, lyrically nor musically. Where are artists like this today?

Yes, Steve did indeed. Steve is not making a mockery of God. He is making a mockery of post modernism. Steve was the ultimate satirist; occasionally speaking the absurdity of the opposing viewpoint, which is what this song is.

Steve's voice (especially this song) helped to keep me from losing my mind and my faith in college. No softball lyrics from this man of God!

Steve preached the truth. No man's gonna make a mockery of God. That is not post modernism. Post modernism is heresy. Steve preached the truth.
