support nick jonas and his fight against diabetes its been 3 years since he found out

hey guys today is november 16, 2008 and on this day in 2005 nick jonas went to the hospital and found out he had type 1 diabetes. but before this day he was not acting like him self at all he was going through tough times as he said he was going through emotional break downs he lost 15 pounds in 3 weeks and was thirsty all the time. that night on the way to the hospital he said he would not let it slow him down when the doctor said that you have type 1 diabetes and he didnt know what that was so he asked the doctor if he was going to die but the doctor said no you are going to be fine he was crying but they helped him go through it he had to stay in the hospital for 3 days going through this thing to learn more about diabetes and how to take care of it. he had to give him self shots everyday and they were just in a van no tour bus just a van it was really hard for him and his family. one day he found out about the omnipod and that is what he uses now. on 3/11/07 he anouced he had type 1 diabetes. he hasnt let diabetes slow him down and he will not let diabetes slow him down.
he has helped alot of people with diabetes and he said that their going to be alright just to be normal people. he wants the other people to act like reaglar people and not think of them selfs as diabetics and think that their different because their not they are normal people who have a diease that is very harmful to their body if they dont treat it right but there has been alot of people who have died from diabetes and there are people out there that have diabetes but dont know that they have it. all the diabetics have been looking for a cure for diabetes so lets help them find a cure and lets support them.
