Joseph Rodriguez was this year's Mahal Foundation's Scholarship awardee. Joseph's story is one of hardships from a young age. But with the help of Mahal Foundation Joseph's story has now become Joseph's dream.

Born in Aurora province in the Philippines, Joseph began begging for food and fending for himself by age 3. Krissy Rodriguez took him in as their own and have been supporting his 180 degree turn around.

Joseph manages straight A's and is a high achiever in all areas of his schooling and extra curricular activity.
