they carry their brood in their mouths and spit them out some place safe

@MrMaltaBoy I have the same problem, I had many people telling me different things but I never seceded with my fry growing up =(

How old are those fry ? This is the 3rd time I have firemouth fry but I am afraid the parents keep eating them as the parents are the only fish left with the fry, the thank is 77 gallons.
Can you help me out mate I hate to lose this batch also. They are now about 5 days old.

Both parents are beautiful! Such vivid colours! The vid quality is certainly better than the one I posted of my cichlid pair defending their spawn from about 20 of their previous offspring.
