Message from video source:
"A group of peaceful student protesters were assaulted by detective Greg McClure with the Indiana University Police Department. There are more videos of him shoving and pushing other peaceful protesters that will be uploaded as they are collected. The students were protesting a JP Morgan-Chase Asset Managing event. This quote came from a press statement. "JP Morgan-Chase
was among the major financial institutions that caused the 2008
financial collapse with its criminally greedy, fraudulent lending
practices (in the forms of mortgage-backed securities and
collateralized debt obligations). It should have failed then, but
because of the influence Wall Street has over the government, it was
bailed out, and it has used the funds from the bail-out to lobby
against strong financial regulations in Congress and to pay its
executives exorbitant bonuses. Worse, it has not ceased in their
fraudulent practices. It has contributed enormously to the corruption
of our democracy, has caused misery on a massive, debilitating scale
within this country, and has a list of other crimes to its name that
is too lengthy to enumerate."

  • This is a joke, I wish the detective would have pepper sprayed every protester there. Then you could complain about something.

  • Oh the horror, oh the terror, such heinous acts of violence... I've seen worse at a Dave Matthews concert, if people want a revolution that badly they should grow a pair and move to Chechnya.

  • dont taze me bro!

  • Is that your campus, or is that the business school's campus? SPEA is the next building over fyi

  • @jbtrio444 - you don't see what happened before this. That video was conveniently taken down because it made the protestors look bad.

  • If the protesters were to have put one hand on that detective they would have immediately been handcuffed. There is a procedure as a member of the police officials to avoid force (and warn if necessary) and none of this was implemented. Mr. McClure could be facing a lawsuit. Way to keep your cool, detective.

  • that detective is my hero. show them hippies whats good

  • @marymc14 If Kelley is such a prestigious business school, shouldn't its graduates get jobs regardless of one interrupted presentation?? And if Kelley students are so qualified, they should be able to work for ANY bank, ones that don't use government bail-outs to pay executives excessive bonuses while the victim of its faulty loans lose their homes to foreclosures =).

  • @Surfboard365 An act of violence is an act of violence, regardless of the degree or extent. These students were obviously attempting to exercise their first amendment rights and didn't deserve to be bodily violated by anyone, regardless of that person's position. I would expect a trained officer of the law to display a little more propriety when dealing with a group of calm, peaceful protesters.

  • that's my uncle!!! nicest guy in the world. but disobey a direct order of a police officer and you are lucky all that happened was a push. youth of today worry me. next time my uncle greg should give them something to really complain about!
