  • I'm going to guess that she could not imagine from the days she was in My Fair Lady that she would become one of, if not the best (by far in my opinion) and scary Queen of the Nights. Not only that but to become one of, in my opinion, the best opera singers of her time. It seems her days in theatre pays off because she can really act her opera roles, just making them so much better to go along with her beautiful voice

    singing some 15 productions of Die Zauberflote as the Queen of Night, and still retains the voice!
