The greatest thing about Doom/Stoner is that its impossible to go mainstream. Its something that normal people (who are actually the insane ones) can't understand and comprehend. Maybe its because this type of music is the real "Heavy Metal"? From my own experience, fans of this type of music usually have a broad taste, are addicted to music and love smoking and using dope. We are seekers :)

I don't care if I'll get a shitload of thumbs up or not and I don't even care if anybody will disagree with me, but THIS KIND OF ROCK/METAL MUSIC is the first true kind of metal music in history. You all have heard it before, back in the earliest days of the 70s... Black Sabbath with their first 4-5 albums gave birth to this kind of music, which sends shivers up your spine, making you think of how would it be like being stoned out of your mind, tripping and being doomed for your entire life.
