Dai's back in Japan sipping some holiday sake but GTChannel is hard at work putting together highlight reels and preparing for next year! Behind the Smoke gives a look into the real life of professional Formula Drift driver, Daijiro Yoshihara. GTChannel's cameras will follow Dai throughout the 2011 FD season both on and off the track giving current and new drifting fans an exclusive look into what it's really like to compete in the top drifting series of N.America. Behind the Smoke is produced by GTChannel in association with Discount Tire/America's Tire and supported by Falken Tire and GoPro.

Dai your an awesome dude. Can't w8 till i get my first RWD car, i'll be practicing my ass off to drift. It's easier for me sonce I got "half" proffesional drifter in my family and we have a good relationship ;)

@666TECHNO666 c'mon they're amazing drivers. tanner foust's last formula d season he rocked a nascar v8 engine in the scion. but he didnt have a problem taking kazama to school in a stock mustang and kazama is top 5 all time from japan for sure. i didnt say it was all about power but at formula d it helps. and its not the only drift event in the U.S. I used to hit up drift days in my fc rx7 with just a street ported na motor. like your channel its dope
