@tsntana - Mr. Anderson assumed the role of announcer for the Burnett show in 1974, following series regular/previous announcer Lyle Waggoner's departure. But even before that, Anderson had done some on-camera work on the program; on some shows (such as one from 1969), he was among the audience, particularly on shows where future regular Tim Conway was a guest.

Vicky Lawrence was kinda hot!!

I remember the syndicated "Carol Burnett And Friends".
Ernie Anderson was the announcer. It was shown right after the 10:00pm local news on our ABC affiliate.
As a child, I always thought it was part of their normal programming schedule. Little did I know that they did the show at what is known now as the Bob Barker Studio. I remember both The Carol Burnett Show and The Price Is Right from my childhood.

I'm so glad we had this time together
Just to have a laugh or sing a song;
Seems we just get started,
And, before you know it,
Comes the time we have to say, "So long!"

Seems like we only just get started
And then it's time we have to say so long

which season was this?
Good clean comedy! No bad language or sex used in the comedy, just pure fun and laughter!
