So what is it exactly you're trying to prove, that a more expensive laptop performs better than one that costs 50-60% less? No shit sherlock, you're obviously going to get a better product when you shell out twice the price. Don't get me wrong I have nothing against apple, but it annoys me when mac owners compare apples (pun not intended) with oranges. If you really have to compare, then do it with a product of the same price point, not something half the price.

@jitjoseph It's at Newegg, Tigerdirect and Buydig at least. At those sites enter "su2300 as1410" and you'll see the listings. Price is around $450.

There's no restore / Windows 7 disk. You have to create one in Windows. Lenovo provides the software to do that.

Why would you need a software from Lenovo to restore Win7?
Windows 7 has its own software for "Backup and Restore" ...

I don't know much about that new feature for W7, but if it also restores hidden partitions then sure try that. I will have to try it myself.
