  • You can install Non-free Drivers in Linux Ubuntu you click system / administration / Additional Drivers , and install ubuntu-restricted-extras , and this also works in Linux Mint...

  • Hey Archlinux provides NVIDIA drivers by just running a simple command. Thanks for the video, I was looking for answers on the whole bsd vs linux thing.

    it is much more complicated only on some distros. for example- creating rpm's from spec file is easy, same as compilling using portage

  • In Linux you can also compile from source but its much more complicated then in Freebsd.

    In Freebsd you also can download pre-compiled packages with the pkg_add command.

  • @WeedingWaimbow Cool. I started with python and moved to C. Now I might learn assembly to help someone with some kernel development :D
