It's Dawn Goold's 30th birthday and a perfect day for joining family and friends steaming through the English countryside on the back of J.R.Goold's Sentinel steam waggon.
Thanks to driver Justin and stoker Gary for their expert engineering on what turned out to be the hottest day of 2008 so far!

Our steam waggon as featured in this film average 45 miles with 165 gallons of water (Sentinel would claim 55 - 60 miles!). We added extra capacity with a removable 165 gallon tank on the back of the lorry so we can go 80 miles before another water stop.

I have a friend with a 1911 Stanley, it is a wonderful car! I am glad I had the opportunity to be around one. :)
Thanks again for sharing the video.

That was a sweet video, I had not seen one of those wagons before. What year was the Stanley? Thanks for posting!

Brilliant Vid! I found it best viewed in the high quality link below the VIEWS. Good use of classic tunes too - very nostalgic!!
