"Mai Kai" in hawaiian does not mean "the very best".... Mai Kai roughly translates to Good Ocean... Mai means good or welcoming and kai means ocean or sea...

wow lots has changed at the Mai kai I used to dance there when I was a little girl about 15 years ago...back then they wouldn't let you video tape the show. I still miss it!!
