Casey convinces Maddie not to testify to help Adam because he's ruining Tom and Margo's relationship. While Tom, Margo and Adam wait for her in court and ask for a delay, Maddie tells Alison that she's decided not to testify on Adam's behalf. Guessing this is because of Casey and how he can get people to do what he wants, Alison urges her to do the right thing. At the same time Adam blasts Casey for convincing Maddie not to testify. Casey finally confesses enough so that Adam realizes how much he hurt his brother. Accepting his offer, Adam agrees to leave town and never come back. Casey then asks Maddie to testify and lets Alison think that he did it for Adam's sake. After Maddie's testimony, the judge agrees to drop all the charges against Adam. Later, when Casey boasts that Adam is gone, Alison blasts him for using her.
