brandon roth was horrible for the role, so was kevin spacey..the story line was brutal, the costume looked stupid like it was made of f-ing rubber lol what a joke

1. Don't care if the actor is gay, more interested in if he can act.

2.I think it would be more important that the actor looked like Superman, and not a previous actor.

That said, Brandon Routh Failed at looking like Superman, (the stupid rubber outfit didn't help either) and he isn't a good actor.

im confused about this superman man of steel thing cause on phone under flixster movies, it tells you about upcoming movie releases and stuff and under june 1st 2009 it says superman man of steel but if you look it up on the web it says expected to be a 2011 release, unless there's another version i don't know about but it says director bryan singer, so i don't know
