I wish they would have had more guys in the choir. You can hardly hear all the split parts during the loud portions of the song. :(

@nicefrog45 Sorry for the 3 month long wait, and I'm sure that by now you have probably found out the title, but if not then the actual name of the poem is called "Stars I Shall Find" by Sara Teasdale. It is more commonly known though as "There Will Be Rest". When you google it, be sure to write "stars I shall find poem" and it should come up. :)

I want to sing this one day... I really, really want to.
The quality of this is wonderful. I don't know the song well, but if I listen, I feel like I can find each part. I'm going to just sit here and.... listen. <3

i think it's important to find the actual stillness in this piece. there are places where the music doesn't need to move forward. it just needs to be. this song could be so much more moving if the choir connected the actual story behind frank creating the song and the poet who wrote these powerful words. that's the only way for this song to take flight and move an audience.

I have been introduced to this Sara Teasdale poem by the singer Mary Chapin Carpenter. However I can't find the words under that title when I find her poems, so does it go under a different name other then ' Let There Be Rest' ? Chapin also told us to look at a YouTube version by the Choral Project but I can't seem to locate that version.I had not heard of Sara Teasdale before but would like to read a biography. I think Frank Ticheli wrote the music. Can anyone help me find the poem etc.

Just amazing... the poem, the interpretation, the singers... great performance, absolutely one of the best I have ever seen.
This piece is so beautiful. I think I love it so much because of the story behind it. The woman who wrote the poem ended up taking her own life. What a wonderful, powerful, song.
