Bernie Beagle 100609 - Mans best friend

Jon Barrett is honoring a very special dog today, Bernie. Bernie is the beagle to the far left in my profile picture. Unfortunately, Bernie had health issues, and is now with his other 2 beagle buddies, Rocky and Maisie, in Heaven. Bernie was a very special d...og to me, as he was found on the streets, and was abused by his previous owner (similar to Rocky and Maisie). My Brother and Sister in law, adopted Bernie, and provided a great life to Bernie. He always was brave, intelligent, loyal, and a great listener, as you never had to walk him with a leash. Some of my best moments and memories in life, were with Bernie. Bernie always was a happy dog, as he would always want to jump into your arms, and provide you kisses, and play with you. No matter how tired, sore, or injured Bernie was, he would always want to make you happy, and wag his tail, and paw at you, to get your attention and make you feel happy. Bernie would bark and chase at Larger Dogs, sometimes 5 times his own size, just to protect you from danger. His heart and bravery are two of the best characteristics he possesed. Thank you Bernie for years of all of the great memories you provided to me, and our family, and friends. You truely were "Mans Best Friend." Love you forever Bernie, and rest in peace....
