one of Leicesters 2 lunatic asylums the Towers hospital sits onn Gipsy lane on the North Eastern side of Leicester

it opened in 1869 and closed summer 2005 conversion into flats started almost immediatly and is now well under way some allready lived in

the site is patrolled by security and has had dogs running loose inside!

  • My Mum was a patient here a few times. I remember as a young girl walking the corridors. Was spooky.
