Abigail Renee Akers was born on September 30, 2009 to Rodney & Jessica Akers of Willard, Ohio. She was diagnosed with a rare liver disease called Biliary Atresia which there is no cure and requires a liver transplant. Unfortunately a liver never came and Abby passed away on August 31, 2010 while her mother held her. Her parents requested to donate her heart so that another child could live. Let this be a wake up call to others about the need for organ donation.

  • I rarely comment on video's, not even sure how I came across this one. I am very sorry for your loss. There is something about her eyes, I understand how old she was, but there is something about them that seems so knowing, so beyond what I can even seem to explain. Once again, I am sorry for your loss. What an amazing little girl.
