@pfunk81 I love to get headshots. When I was in Elementary, this big touch mufu was yellin at us from the other side, and I cocked my arm back, and pushed it forward with my elbow behind and let it go and it hit him right in the face. Best. Luck. Shot. Ever.

This was actually very easy to learn, because I do Muay Thai, and the spinning backfist is the same exact move.
-
Too high probability for head shots, which are illegal in my league. It looks cool though and you have some nice power there.

We call this "The Grendel"

Extreme Dodgeball 101...this is a cross between Benedetto's spin throw & Justin Hill's "tornado" (except Hill uses 2 balls).

Time to train the beaters
I have a question. At school we play pin dodgeball and we use those balls but smaller and I want ti know if tehres a certain way i should grip it and release or what. Please help

@JumpstyleJordan - There is no set grip for this throw. The grip should just work best for your control. As for release, that's gonna be up to a judgement call. Practice until you figure out where to release it cause it's different for everyone.

@frgt10drgn ok thank you and any tips on just plain throwing harder?
JumpstyleJordan 11 months ago
@JumpstyleJordan - Lol it's just like working out. You wanna have a stronger arm, you have to practice throwing hard every week until your arm builds on it. However, it's not about the muscle, it's about the snap. Think of a whip. You have to snap your shoulder, elbow, and wrist all in one motion to throw a ball hard. Then it's all about practicing till your arm gets used to it without throwing your arm out.

What size of rubber balls do you typically use? And what size of foam?
What do you prefer to use?

@GawdImTom - I usually use 8.5 inch for both types of balls. If it's rubber though, I prefer a little deflation in the ball to allow for a better grip to use curving type of throws.
