I don't like Zac Efron, but c'mon guys. He is a fan of the show. I'd rather have someone who is a fan of DN AND kind of (JUST KIND OF NOT MUCH) to play Light than some random movie star.

Then again, I would want 1/3 of Disney's fanbase to be talking about Death Note. It would make it less awesome to me. =_=
