Ronn Owens of KGO AM San Francisco (www.kgoradio.com) and Ed Robertson of TV Confidential (www.tvconfidential.net) introduce "The Dark and Bloody Ground" as KOFY TV in San Francisco (www.kofytv.com) showcases The Rockford Files on KOFY TV Retro Night. Ronn and Ed talk about how James Garner did his own stunt driving on the show, and how co-star Gretchen Corbett ("Beth Davenport") didn't realize what she was in for when she filmed her first scene with Garner behind the wheel. Ronn and Ed also talk about the rapport between Garner and Noah Beery ( who played Joseph "Rocky" Rockford, Jimbo's salt-of-the-earth dad), and how that also contributed to the success of The Rockford Files.
