@poet215 - Thank you. I eventually had this figured out myself. For anyone else interested, this also goes for other arcade games such as X-Men and TMNT. You need to download the parent game (4-player) and then the child game (2-player) that will allow you to select other characters.

I was playing Simpsons Arcade on this today. It seems I can only select Marge, because the game character is dependent on which "coin slot" you choose. Mame only has one such slot, which is the II button, and thus only Marge can be selected. Anyone know of a workaround?

@NicoleJRidgway hi, Im having trouble with my caanoo. I put metal slug the game on my caanoo through the mame 4 all app. When i turn it on the game is booting up but says error: ng-sfix, neo.geo., and ng.sm1 roms not found. I also put the neo geo rom in it but it still says the same thing. Any help here?

No, you don't have to unzip each file. Just put the complete romset (or just the games you wish to play) in "roms" folder, launch mame4all...and that's it! Remember you need a mame 0.37b5 compatible romset to work on that. If you need something else, feel free to contact me ;)

I have my Caanoo on order so I'm trying to set up my sd card ahead of time. My question is, do you have to unzip any roms before putting them on the card?
