Is the answer creating poverty in this country? Is the answer breaking down our laws that make us prosperous? Is the answer destroying the culture and heritage of this nation that made it so desirable for the impoverished to come to in the first place?
Anti Illegal Immigration folks like me are so because we are pro legal immigration. Legal immigrants, Mexicans included, are the ones harmed most by illegals.

in fact, a mexican recently became richer than bill gates.
some people in mexico are poor, but mexico should deal with it, not dump their poor on us.

I would like to see republican candidates support global poverty, we see that the focus of most candidates has been "fighting" immigration but I believe that global poverty and immigration have to do with the same core issue. If we focused on fighting global poverty there would be less need for people to leave their countries in search of a better future.

Go Geraldo! Tancredo somehow knows what to do with illegal aliens, but doesn't know what to do with criminals. 31-count indictment and he'd send him back to Mexico. He grants criminals amnesty. That's worse.
