  • need more naturalistic performances like that, ken loach does it well but not well enough, to much politics, scotland needs to explode onto the scene with raw energy form the working class. not middle class river city drivel and scottish screen politically correct nonsense. The young intullectual film graduates are out of touch and ful of cinematography, wi posh glasgow english accents

  • upload the rest of the movie please! :]

  • it wasnt glasgow,it was greenock

  • Why is he holding the pizza box like there is clearly no pizza in it?

  • The champagne socialist director - Ken Loach- lives in leafy Knightsbridge ,London.

  • @Idol2Idol THANKYOU!

  • @DunksXD I know man, I'm fed up with my home city being portrayed in such a negative light where everyone is either a foul mouthed moron, a ned or a drug addict or alcoholic. Ken Loach let himself down by directing this piece of stereotypical nonsense.

  • ayyyyyyyyeeee man

Have a look around. There is so much more to the city than suburban poverty. People seem to quite enjoy watching things about the poverty and violence in Glasgow so they can sit in their apartment and feel ever so civilised.

  • @DunksXD What impressive aspect?

  • @ashten23 As far as I know, and how it made sense to me, is that Dick Turpin was one of those guys from hundreds of years ago who would wear a mask over his face and, armed with a set of pistols, would "hold up" and rob stagecoaches. The coach would of course be late and it and it's passengers would be lighter in wealth than when they started.
