2009 VW Tiguan. Billed by Volkswagen as the GTI of compact SUVS, the sporty Tiguan offers roughly the same compact dimensions and fuel economy as the industry leading Honda CR-V, but in a package that is decidedly more sporty and upscale. While the Tiguan offers features unavailable on the CR-V, such as a manual transmission and a massive full-cabin glass panel sunroof, it also costs significantly more. In fact for the price of the entry-level frontwheel-drive Tiguan, consumers could pick up a nicely equipped CR-V EX with all-wheel drive. Still, the 200-horsepower turbocharged Volkswagen Tiguan has many desirable features, including a sophisticated all-wheel-drive system capable of real off-road adventures. I just bought a Tiguan Comfortline (only drove Acura before this) and I love that it's a perfect size -- not too big not too small -- perfect for suburban moms who are too cool for minivans or large SUV's ;) No complaints except for 2: it's a wee bit pricey (but worth it) and also you're tempted to speed because driving it is really fun. In fact, I got my first speeding ticket in 20 years!!! :( damn

i dont think quality was that good a few yrs back. I have a 2004 Golf and the latest Golf feels much better quality.

German engine with japanese transmission a nice combo tiguan it should be reliable

looks like shit is too expensive , boring car. vw qualty now isnt good as ten years ago.

look at the VIN... make sure you don't get one of these 'quality built cars' made in russia or china. haha

I am interested in this SUV, I just wanna know what you guys think, is it too small. I just don't get the feeling that it's an SUV, I mean it looks like a car that was just lifted too much.
