  • He may have gotten lung cancer from smoking, but the Duke will always be the Duke.

  • @wookie72 what statistics are they May I say here that secondhand smoke retaleted ilness is so not true its criminal. - did you know that statistics have proven that smokers in general live longer than non smokers. You state statistics without backup - you give my your research I will give you mine. Looking forward to our debate

  • did not kill him though - colon cancer did, (don't quote me ,but know for sure it was not lung cancer) but I am sure you haters will say it was due to cigs - weird are'nt you. And my mum died of Lung Cancer aged 67, the fact that she had a poor diet (hated veg and loved chocolate) had no responsibility in this, just that she smoked - go figure.

  • @BigTex541 My died was diagnosed with lung cancer at the beginning of 2009. It was stage 4. My dad fought hard, through those horrible treatments, to stay alive as much for my mom and me as for himself, but to no avail. He passed away early this year in his home and in his wife's arms. He is greatly missed. The irony of it all is he had given up smoking 3 years before.

  • My dad died of lung cancer in '86. When they found out they had to remove an whole lung. Early detection might have helped him. My mother is a 10 year breast cancer survivor, early detection helped her.

  • Not funny he died of stomach cancer get ur facts straight dipshit

  • @wookie72

You do have a point, but the "ä" is pronouced like the "a" in "bad", and we say "häää" in German when we don't undertand something. And now I get the idea of the expression

    ""anectdotal evidence""

  • @Mann1979HH Not sure what you're laughing about. There are always examples of "so-and-so is 90 and he's smoked every day for 70 years." They're meaningless without statistics, which state that smoking is very hazardous to your health.

  • ""anectdotal evidence""??????

    häääääää!!!!!!!

  • @Mann1979HH So based on that anectdotal evidence, what?
