The late Factory Records founder and TV journalist Tony Wilson interviews the punk singer Iggy Pop on his music show So It Goes just after he did a famous gig at the Manchester Apollo.

i like his honesty, he uses it with great charm. and he really is an amazing, visionary artist, so even (or especially) his failures are interesting, as he says.

How can such a little wild man seem so FRESH and HONEST? IGGY POP IS SO DAMN SPECIAL! Iggy brought us so much good music, personality and art that he worth all the money he gained in the past and in the present. GO IGGY!!

I hope the If is taking the loss out of poor Tony.Sell more units,I didn't know "I Want More" meant more press.Little wonder(sorry David)that Iggy became irrelevant around this time.

Admittedly not as large as the list of cool people from Manchester would be if one was compiled...
