Voices of Children Impacted by the Fort Morgan Raid (2011 06-05) Final

On Wednesday, June 1, 2011, local law enforcement officials and Immigration and Customs Enforcmeent officers conducted a raid of the Wildcat Dairy in Fort Morgan, Colorado. At least eleven workers were arrested and now face criminal charges for working with false documents.

Bond has been set at an astonishing $50,000 for each worker.

The Colorado Immigrant Rights Coalition worked in solidarity with OneMorgan County, New Creation Church, and other community groups to organize two meetings to coordinate community response for families impacted by the raid.

At the second meeting, the children asked to speak out to the community.
