  • Thanks for the recipe Julie. Do you think this would work with Asian rice noodles? Also, could I substitute maple or brown rice syrup for the agave? I have both in my pantry now but no agave. Thanks!

  • Rice noodles would probably be delicious with this sauce. I don't see why you couldn't sub maple syrup for the agave. Brown rice syrup might not be the right flavor for it.

    Enjoy!

  • Julie whats the difference betweeen ur vita mix and the vita mix 5200?

  • I think it may be the choice of colors and a fancier handle on the blender jar. I've used both machines, and they both are awesome.

I hope that helps. We have them on the Everyday Dish website if you want more info.

    Thanks!

  • This was *fantastic*.

I doubled the peanut sauce and used the leftover sauce to marinade tempeh that I baked. I served the noodles with wrapped sandwiches made with the baked tempeh and leftover cabbage.

  • Oh yum! It sounds wonderful as a tempeh marinade. So glad you liked it!

  • Fried tofu pieces would taste great wth this sauce and noodles! Don't laugh-it's yummy!

  • I'm not a vegan but I would love this along side some meat or put shrimp or grilled chicken in it, even toss in some chopped peanuts and a little mint.
