Merry performs her classic rendition of the Stones mega smash "Gimme Shelter". Not only was she the featured female vocalist on their version she also covered the song on her album of the same name. The album has recently been reissued on CD in Japan by Video Arts/Ode Records . This was video tapped at the Gibson Amphitheatre in Universal City, CA. Notice the superb Waters family singing backgrounds vocals.

wikipedia entry says she had a miscarriage after recording this song with The Stones, because she strained to vocals so...I doubt that...

Tremendous rendition!!! The only thing I'd like changed (which is impossible) is to see this with her as the lead singer AND the backup singer. The first time I ever heard the Rolling Stones version of that song, I was totally devastated by her singing. She makes that song what it is. Great voice Merry!! (born on Dec 25th hence the name "Merry")
