Autism Spectrum: PDD-NOS Stimming

My 3 year old son with PDD NOS, Mild Mental Retardation and Epilepsy. Demontrating some of his "quirks" (stimming) hand flapping and rocking. He loves music and water and its difficult to pull him away from either once he gets started. He is only 3 years old in this video. The reason I post it is to help parents who haven't been diagnosed and even those that have to compare your child's behavior to that of a diagnosed child, such as mine. Emilio was just diagnosed July of 2011 although I suspected that he was "different" when he failed to meet all his milestones. Through early intervention, PT OT Speech, he has made incredible strides. Emilio is still non-verbal but he he's learned about 10 words in sign. He is an amazing child and I am proud to be his mom.
