Personally, the main villain should have been Sky Marshall Wade. He seems more credible as a threat.

P.S. Thundercats is alright, suffers from bad writing.

Yep I totally agree with the Daniel and Larmina comments; also, Allura's niece...how does that make any sense...last I recall Allura is an only child.

The series is okay, could be better. If only they could have made this as good as the new Thundercats.

Also agree I doubt this gets a second season. I'd be surprised if it did.

Thanks for the review, I'm a big fan of the 80s toons series as well. I liked BOTH the lion and vehicle Voltrons. This new Voltron is interesting and it's good to see that a couple of the original characters are still present. It makes sense that a future version with an updated storyline be presented.

I'm definately on the middleground on this series. I like the CG animation for the lions as it is very streamlined and less block, but the 2D looks awful. The biggiest complaint I have with the show is that the attetion on the characters is misguided. The show focuses on the cadets more than the veterans we really want to see.

Personally I wished that WEP would have done what the new ThunderCats cartoon is doing and getting a japanese animation studio to do the animation instead.

I agree, The lions and the story are cool, but they cheaped out on the 2d animation. They should have just went full 3D, or get another animation company.
