The ballad of Stompin' Tom Connors.

He is known for many classic hits,
including "Bud The Spud" "Ben In The Pen"
"Margo's Cargo" "Sudbury Saturday Night"
"The Hockey Song" "Luke's Guitar" "The Ketchup Song"
and many more!

Stompin' Tom combines the sound of
traditional country western music,
with Canadian folk music.
A very unique blend!

His influences include:
Hank Snow, Hank Williams,
Johnny Cash, Roger Miller
and many other artists.

  • This is just great! I'm sixty years old and I'm only just now hearing Stompin' Tom's songs. I'll bet not one person in a hundred here has even heard of him. Damn, but this guy is real! His music is a welcome contrast to all the phony, overproduced bs that passes for music these days. A true original.

  • @willyleeman - Well... it's nice to hear that you're enjoying Tom's music!

He's been a Canadian legend for many years.... but never became

known very well over in the U.S.A.

  • The Canadian legend himself!

  • Thank you for this. Tom sang it during his 2010 western Canadian tour. I heard it live in Dryden. A fantastic show and Tom sounds better every time I hear him. He is truly a Canadian legend. Someone should start a following to help iron out the past in regards to the Canadian Government. Tom deserves only the best recognition and it should start with the Canadian Government. Peace & Love :)
