This is just great! I'm sixty years old and I'm only just now hearing Stompin' Tom's songs. I'll bet not one person in a hundred here has even heard of him. Damn, but this guy is real! His music is a welcome contrast to all the phony, overproduced bs that passes for music these days. A true original.

Thank you for this. Tom sang it during his 2010 western Canadian tour. I heard it live in Dryden. A fantastic show and Tom sounds better every time I hear him. He is truly a Canadian legend. Someone should start a following to help iron out the past in regards to the Canadian Government. Tom deserves only the best recognition and it should start with the Canadian Government. thanks for posting this song,  my grand father (god rest his soul) use to listen to stompin tom and my mother told me about stompin tom, so i went out and bought his cd and i loved his music every since
