Nice job. But.... I GOTTA HAVE MORE BANJO!

My Grandfathers neighbor put up a fence six inches past the property line. My Grandfather went out the next morning and ripped it all out. The neighbor complained to him, but was told "I can rip out my fence anytime I want, it was on my land so it was my fence. I'll be happy to do it again tomorrow" End of problem. When it comes to property, don't give an inch or you'll lose it in the end. (Don't put a tree stand on my current landlord's property, either. He will just cut down his tree.)

I had the same shit happen to
Me here in Australia. This so called security officer from 4 doors down chucked a big spit that I put up a front fence. He stood out the front And called me a pedophile .. I took his arse to court for slander. I won. They moved out .. Bullies are only bullies if you don't stand up to them ..

"Good fences make good neighbors." Super nice XXXXL fluorescent green wife-beater, too. Ya think Walmart has any left? Oh man, I would have invited this guy up to my front porch to show him my new baseball bat.

We have this problem with our neighbor. His wife's dad owns a tiny corner of land that he would have to cross our property to get to. We asked to buy it and he said no. There is NOTHING he can do with it. He also comes in our yard when we're not home to survey "his" land. He told us that our shed was on his property so we had a REAL surveyor come and find out that most of the property (woods) that he considers and we thought were his are actually ours.

When someone tries to bully me I get in their face daring them to do something about it.

One way to deal with a bully: As soon as threats or swearing occurs, completely ignore them. Good to know shed was moved.
Thought I would share this message I received.
"My name is Kelly Martin and I am a producer with the Bill Cunningham show in NYC. I watched your video about your bully neighbor and I would love to have you and the other party on the show to work this out. Will you contact me?"
It’s a shame that something like this can happen in your life that could become fodder for this kind of show.
LOL!

I'm glad you made him move the shed. While offering to let him keep it there to "save the peace," in most states, you are giving your land away. After his shed has been there a certain amount of time (time varies by state), the land is his. When you sell the house, you are selling a different plat of property than that which you originally purchased. I suggest always seeking the advice of a lawyer before offering to "give in" on a land dispute.

@WiseAsk He was told that he could pay to have a lawyer write up an encroachment agreement that I would have signed if it met my requirements.
That was the adult thing to do.

@Ruddteen Videotape the behavior.
If threatened, go to the police and file a report.
In my state, it's called a terroristic threat and is a misdemeanor punishable by jail time and or fines.
