Rockets select G/F Steve Novak (Marquette) with 32nd pick in NBA Draft. Forget this pick..what's up with Houston trading away Rudy Gay for Shane Battier?

  • lol.....

  • WE DONT NEED A RUDE GAY

  • We needed a defensive team player, not a star. Rudy Gay is explosive himself, but we needed support, not superpower.

  • Gay is the future of the Grizzlies. The reason Jerry West traded Shane was because he NEVER showed up in the playoffs and you can look that up for yourself. And where was he this year when Houston lost?....Shane is BAD LUCK! His team has NEVER made it out of the first round!!! And Houston had a damn good team this year..

  • I would say the Battier trade has paid dividends! I said the same thing at first, but he's really become an intricate piece to the puzzle.

  • It was a good trade for both. Memphis needs to rebuild and Rockets don't have time to wait for Gay to become a good player.

  • Shane Battier coming to Houston was the best deal of the offseason by any team.

  • Jerry West knows what hes doing.
